One of my favorite magazines is The Bark. I really like the stories and photos, but I especially love how it promotes adoption from shelters and praises mixed breeds. When I saw this cover I just about melted:
I haven't had a chance yet to read the article on older dogs, but I absolutely LOVE the photography in this issue. These doggies in particular caught my eye...

Maybe it's because my parents have two (approaching) senior dogs, or the fact that I am drawn to older dogs and cats in general, but this issue is right up my alley. I am excited about reading it this weekend!
