... still living simply

My first Project 365 journey, 'Live Simply So That Others May Simply Live', documented from April 7, 2010 to April 6, 2011. After taking a couple of months off I have decided to continue my Project 365 blog for another year. I am entitling this year '... still living simply'.

Thank you for visiting. I hope you will stay a while and enjoy!

Day 362 - April 3, 2011

In the morning Christie and I worked out at our hotel (a first!) and then convened at Stella's to have breakfast with Kristen, Brooke and Eric. Stella's is a funky little place in the heart of College Town with really delicious food! I had chocolate chip pancakes -- I don't know why I was craving them, but they were so worth it!
And... Christie had the "Vegan Bastard Burrito" with oodles of tofu (I have to admit I was a little jealous of that part -- considering my love affair with tofu!). It was very good! Christie and I shared a side of home fries that also hit the spot. All of this washed down with strong coffee = not a bad way to start the day!
After breakfast we headed to Cornell to admire the view from the suspension bridge.
The gorges are quite impressive...
After that we went to the Vet School so we could see where Brooke went to school. Even though it was pretty quiet, it was neat to wander the halls and to have a look at where Brooke spent four years post-Geneseo. I am insanely proud of her!
After wandering around for a bit we decided to drive past Brooke's old house and to partake in one final wine tasting at Six Mile Creek. Though the wines were not my favorite, I thought they were still decent and it was a fun way to end our trip.
One final shot!
I love my girls, and it was so great to meet Eric, too. Awesome weekend!
