Day 145 - August 29, 2010

Today we visited the Chelsea Market which is full of different eateries and cute little shops. Christie and I made friends with a couple of crepe makers and had the most delicious crepes for breakfast! Mine had goat cheese, heirloom squash, pesto, and a few other veggies. Christie had one with arugula, brie, apples and honey. Then for "dessert" we split one with Nutella and strawberries... triple mmm! After the Market we walked to the High Line which is an old subway track that has been turned into an urban garden. Then we walked back to the hostel to grab our belongings and then made our way back to Grand Central Station where we got on the train back to Poughkeepsie. All in all it was a great time spent in the city... I learned a thing or two about travelling with a larger group of people, but I still had a lovely time. Looking forward to going back (at some point)!
