... still living simply

My first Project 365 journey, 'Live Simply So That Others May Simply Live', documented from April 7, 2010 to April 6, 2011. After taking a couple of months off I have decided to continue my Project 365 blog for another year. I am entitling this year '... still living simply'.

Thank you for visiting. I hope you will stay a while and enjoy!

Day 343 - March 15, 2011

A few of my favorite spots in our apartment:
My knitting/yarn/craft nook
A shelf containing several years' worth of VegNews, my favorite magazine.
Christie's drawing table that I sometimes take over, surrounded by lots of crafty goodness. All of this is lovingly overlooked by Tegan and Sara. :)
A recycled box that Christie's sister-in-law made for us with our tapestry as a backdrop (bought in Geneseo the first time I showed Christie around, so it's extra special).
My Grandma and Grandpa's old Smith-Corona typewriter (on the left) and another given to me by Kristen, my college friend and rommate.
A birthday present from Christie's parents... it's a hanging jewelry holder. It will come in handy, without a doubt. :)
Close-up of the beautiful hanger that goes with it.
In the evening Christie and I went on a long walk around the South Wedge because it was GORGEOUS out, but along the way we got hungry so we stopped for dinner at Mise En Place. We were quite fond of the water glasses (above).
We had a breaded salad with fresh greens, lentils, a little bit of cheese, a light dressing, and a bready mixture that really hit the spot. Yum!

'Bye!
