Day 318 - February 18, 2011

Christie's college friend, Emily, arrived today from North Carolina! We went to the Owl House for dinner and then went to the Comedy Club in Webster, followed by some coffee at Equal Grounds. The "headliner" comedian was Brian Dunkleman, the first host of American Idol. He was quite raunchy, but it was still fun to hear the other two opening comedians. Here are a few photos of the Volcano Lilies... the sun was hitting them perfectly through the window, so I had a mini photo session. :) Enjoy!

    Nice! Were these taken with your "reversed-macro" set-up, or just up close with a normal lens?
